2020-2021 Exec Board (pictured below), updates for 2022-2023 coming!
2019-2020 Exec Board
The 2018-19 school year has begun and we'd like to welcome everyone back! This year promises to be an exciting one. The district continues to grow. We hired 40 new teachers this year to keep up with the increased staffing needs. In June, Measure X passed with strong community support. This critical school bond will help enable us to build new schools as well as upgrade current facilities. This was a team effort between certificated, classified, and administrative personnel. Most of all we want to give a huge thanks to the people of Los Banos! We'd also like to send out our thoughts and prayers to all of those that have been affected by this years unprecedented fires. Many school employees statewide have lost homes and and have had their lives changed forever. It's comforting to know that as part of CTA we are helping with the losses through the Disaster Relief Fund. We'd especially like to thank those of you who willingly give your time and talent to make our association strong. First to our Executive Board Members. Francine Baker, Sarah Vierra, Kelly Todd, Amanda Creighton, Jason Walsh, Jim Foster, Ila Nelson, Vicki Costello. Treasurer Jeff De La Cruz, and Vice- President Andi Clarke. We'd also like to thank our Site Reps and all of those who chair committees and step up whenever there is a need! We hope all of you have a fantastic year.

"I would like to welcome back our members for the 2016-2017 school year. Many exciting things are happening throughout our district. Creekside Junior High School will be opening its doors, providing relief to the 7th and 8th grade students. As LBUSD continues to grow, more and more teachers are needed in our community. We have hired over fifty new teachers who are excited to come and be part of the traditions we have established here in Los Banos. I am very grateful for the continued and new service of the LBTA Representatives across the district. I would specifically like to thank our officers, and Executive Board Members, Jeff Miller (Vice President), Karel Brady (Treasurer), Andi Clarke (Secretary), Amanda Baker, Francine Baker, Jeff De La Cruz, Alisha De La Cruz, Jennifer Wilkin, Vicki Costello, Ila Nelson, and Jim Foster. In recognition of many years of dedicated service, I would also like to thank our former LBTA President Randy Nocito. The teachers in our community owe Mr. Nocito a tremendous amount of gratitude. Have a great year!"

"Welcome Back! This week, LBUSD opened its doors with over 10,000 students and 440 teachers. We are growing indeed. Next year at this time, we will be opening a second junior high and Mercey Springs Elementary will have doubled in size. It’s hard to believe just a few years ago we were laying teachers off during the “Great Recession”. For those serving as LBTA executive board members, site reps, and committee members; I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks for your service to our members. Members serving members; that’s what makes this association great! Have an awesome year."

Mr. Parreira retired! He will certainly be missed by students and staff, and of course the LBTA membership that he served so diligently over the years. Thanks for all of your hard work and CONGRATULATIONS Mr. Parreira!
